Notice the top of the screen when Archangel is talking to Senator William Dietz at Red Star Control "It´s not a lousy helicopter, Senator.". Watch closely and you can see part of the microphone held by a boom.

Hawke (JMV) has a bruised fingernail on his left hand in this episode, and also in the next episodes "Daddy´s Gone a Hunt´n" and "Proof Through the Night". (Can be seen whenever he is holding/playing the cello.)
13 Jan 2002, Haakon Kjole 33, Shadow of the Hawke - Part 1
When Gabrielle and Archangel first visit Hawke´s cabin, a title card reads "Three months later" (i.e., after Moffet blows up Red Devil Control). However, Gabrielle mentions to Hawke specifically that Moffet stole Airwolf "five weeks ago".
13 Jan 2002, Haakon Kjole 33, Shadow of the Hawke - Part 1
Three of the production crew-members are visible in the end of the episode when Hawke first takes off in Airwolf from the Libyan summer palace. For two brief seconds you can see the three guys behind Airwolf not dressed as guards (two in jeans and one wearing a flannel shirt carrying a microphone boom or something).
13 Jan 2002, Haakon Kjole 33, Shadow of the Hawke - Part 1
In the scene where Dominic has just arrived at the cabin with several bags of groceries and is standing in the kitchen talking to Hawke and Gabrielle, Hawke remarks to Dominic that he thinks he´s found a canyon deep enough to shoot a crop-duster chase for Bellisarius Film. JMV flubs the line with a short pause.

When Hawke(JMV) sees Gabrielle in the desert and lands Airwolf, you notice he exits on the left side of Airwolf instead of the right side.

During the Red Star test run, shortly after the four SAMs are fired at Airwolf, there is a stock-footage scenery shot across which four "glowbug" missiles zoom, representing the SAMs. Just after the 4th missile passes, in the last few frames of the shot, a fifth "glowbug" missile zooms past in the opposite direction!

when airwolf is on it´s way to destroy an american destroyer, and they are passing the fishing boat, take a closer look at "airwolf´s" shadow, it would seem like airwolf has transformed into a different kind of helicopter all-together!
09 Sep 2002, Beli Mawr 30, Shadow of the Hawke - Part 1
a huge mistake is that helicopters can´t fly at the speed of sound, at normal speed shockwaves are produced on the tips from the blades what causes huge vibrations so the structure can shake into pieces.

The so- called MIRAGE Fighter is a U.S.A.F
SABRE fighter from the late `60s. .And when Archangel asks for two more F-16 Jets ,you see taking off an F-15 Tomcat !
23 Oct 2002, Chameleon 39, Shadow of the Hawke - Part 1
Addendum to an earlier blooper comment, above:
The F-15 is known as the Eagle in the U.S. Air Force. The jet which is known as the "Tomcat" is the F-14 (a U.S. Navy owned jet). The F-15 has two upright tails and fixed main wings. The F-14 has two slightly-leaning-outward-from-upright tails and the main wings pivot (aka: swing-wings) which allow them to, in the "out" position; generate more lift for takeoff on the catapult of a Naval aircraft carrier, and during their very short landing on same. During flight they swing the wings back to reduce drag, allowing for better manuvering at higher flight velocities. Neither of these, however is a F-16 Falcon, nor a F-86 Saber.

It seems that in almost every episode that the tail rotor seems to have switched sides.
However I´m still puzzled about this whole thing with the rotors.
At some moments there would be an optical illusion of 4. Then an illusion of two. I´m not sure if this has anything to do with whether it´s moving at supersonic speed or not.
23 Jan 2004, Solid Snake 27, Shadow of the Hawke - Part 1
One part where Moffett shows the Libyan commander how AIRWOLF gets destroyed immediately with one shot. Moffett uses the revolver and spins the cartidge and sticks the revolver in AIRWOLF´s "mid ir refueling-in-take," load the gun, then pulls the trigger which makes a blank shot not to be destroyed. Moffett also did that on Part 2. This is a reference from Michael Cimino´s film "The Deer Hunter"
24 Jul 2004, SilverSnake020 28, Shadow of the Hawke - Part 1
When the Senator is getting briefed, Airwolf is told as being able to go from "sea level to 65,000 feet" in 9.6 seconds - which would be around Mach 7! What they should have said was 6,500 (hundred, not thousand)
19 Sep 2004, dwlie2 32, Shadow of the Hawke - Part 1
Hey was juz thinking back at this great episode. I remember that the Senator was being briefed that AIRWOLF has duo redundant controls in case one of the pilot is incapitated. But as we can see in the flight deck that it is a slightly beefed up BELL 222 flight deck. As in all real helicopters there is only the cyclic pitch control on the right hand side for the "pilot". So if the right hand side pilot were to have fainted from the fickle mindedness of sometimes wearing and sometimes not wearing the G flight suits then wouldnt AIRWOLF crash? It would be quite incovinient or if not impossible due to the G forces (hey man MACH 2 plus with TURBOS) for the left hand seat pilot to grab the cyclic collective expecially at the speed they are normally going?

i was just wondering what the hell beliisario is trying to pull.i am a fan of the show, and i am bewildered when they point out to mcdonell douglas hughes 500 choppers and say that they are tu-36 russian gunships..hello???you think we are that stupid? the most clear blunder is in the episode proof through the night, when we can clearly see the russian chopper is a hughes 500.The least they copuld do was dress up the chopper like a russian one ,like in rambo 2.Also in the part when moffat shoots a mirage, the computer identifies it as a mirage, but we see a f-86 sabre,a 50´s looking jet, like the ones used in the korean war.zThis happens numerous times in the series, always saying they are mig-23s, but then they look like 50´s mig 15s...The missile shots also look extremely fake.they look like fireballs, not missiles.
23 Oct 2006, vampyrah 43, Shadow of the Hawke - Part 1
When the firm´s helo lands at Hawke´s cabin, there is clearly only one male pilot in a white jumpsuit, in the R hand seat where the L is empty. The next shot shows Gabrielle exiting from the L side. Archangel then shows up beside her in a white jacket and hat. If that was supposed to be him in the R hand seat, they should have changed the costume of the real pilot flying the chopper.

The first night in the cabin when Gabrielle is looking at the van Gogh, the photo below it is a duplicate of the one on the mantel with Saint John and Stringfellow. Gabrielle goes into the stairwell to look at the paintings there. When she comes back and leans over to speak with Archangel, the original photo of Saint John and Stringfellow is gone and a different photo is in its place.

The 6th missile that Hawke fires at the already-dead Moffet is the same shot used in the finale battle, and it isn't anywhere near the jeep or Moffet as it lands on a seperate sand dune.

When Airwolf lands in the desert to retrieve the nearly-dead Gabrielle, the pilot is seated in the port (left-hand) seat, and the close-up shows JMV getting out of Airwolf on the port side. But when they first took off, at the palace, String was in the starboard seat (his usual position.)

when the army commander tells string to "lift your visor" it sure does take a long time to raise. I could be wrong but I didn't know the visor motor had speed controls. Dominic has airwolf completely running befor the visor is completely up.

When Hawke and Dom on their way to Valley of The Gods, Hawke gives details to Dom about getting to the Red Castle, then Hawke says "I´ll fly to the terminal and wait for you on Wednesday". When Hawke said that line, notice there´s a shadow of the Jet Ranger helicopter on Hawke´s left side window and passes by and zooms off to the right.
21 Sep 2004, kentrj 26, Shadow of the Hawke - Part 2
When Hawk tells Dom to bring out the the chain guns and ADF pods, you see them extract, after Dom says ´set´ Hawk lifts off with the weapons deployed, but the next scene with airwolf you see Airwolf from behind with no guns at all.

When Hawke & Santini get Airwolf from the palace, Hawke tells Santini to "start the engines." Then Santini gets in from the pilots side. In the next screenshot of Santini, he is just sitting down in the back. He must of had fun climbing over the pilots seat, flight controls, center console, folding the co-pilots seat foreward, and getting into the rear of the helecopter at breakneck speed.

Hi,
So this isn´t necessarily a blooper but more of of a prop issue.
The computer always sits in front of Dom that he folds up and down is actually a Workslate that was designed by convergent technologies. Here is a link: http://www.old-computers.com/museum/computer.asp?st=1&c=891
I reconized it when I was at a yard sale and picked it up.
Funny to think that Dom´s in the back doing spreadsheets for the firm and calculating how much each flight was costing them.

Dominic jumps out of Airwolf to rescue the young boy, however when he pushs down the 1st solider he encounters, he then rollsover and fires a few rifle bullets at the oncoming solider, but instead of the usual no blood, we see sparkles misteriously bouncing of the solider's uniform, however there isn't any solid objects on him.

I believe in the beginning of "Daddy´s Gone a Huntin´" when String and Dom are flying around the Valley Of The Gods before the mission that String is dressed in a USAF flight suit BEFORE Archangel recruits him.

When Dom goes into rescue the boy, he talks to him, then the camera goes back to Airwolf and you can clearly see two people in the front, Hawk, and who else? The next shot is Dom coming out of the building carrying the boy to put him in the front of Airwolf where the ´other person´ was sitting in the previous shot.

When the charge explodes in the vintage chopper "Yeah kid, we're gonna ...", there is a light smoke machine blowing onto the windscreeen, but just before they crash all the scenes with Dom trying to land have an unreal SLOW smoke effect added onto the film, as the right hand camera on Shannen Doherty's character Phoebe has a FAST add-on smoke effect.

When they show the interior of Airwolf after being hit by the Leech missile, the missile has penetrated the Lady through a region that has some kind of warning sticker. This sticker is white text on a red background. When they show it again (I think with Archangel hitting it), the sticker has turned into a white one with black text.

After The Lady was repaired, String opens the ADF pods and extends the guns/cannons. The film shows the guns/cannons from the right "wing" extend, then the ADF, and back to the same wing extending the same guns which were "already extended".

When String is taking off from the lair to go collect Archangel and rescue Dom, he is wearing gloves when he starts take off, then right after takeoff, he isn't. I guess you could take off gloves while simultaneously lifting up out of the crater, but why would you? Why not take them off before starting? Also, same sequence, String goes to turbos without hitting the turbo button.

In the beginning of the action sequence, Archangel deploys the combat mode weapons which include the chain guns. The scene was supposed to show the chain guns being deployed by both wings. It shows the right wing's chain guns being deployed twice.

In the first scene with Dominic and String, when they´re talking in the hangar: Just after Dominic tells String he can´t stay hiding up in the cabin with Tet forever, and String answers, "I know it", every time the camera is facing JMV, he has his hands on the table; every time the camera is facing Ernest Borgnine, JMV has his hands on the vise. This lasts until String heads away from the table.
26 Sep 2003, SLAS 36, Bite of the Jackal
ok when string is comming to pick up michael, look at the tail rotor, when michael´s aide says" My God!" the rotor is on one side of airwolf then the camera shows airwolf flying over them, then you hear miichael say "that seems to be evryone´s reply" they show michael and his aid the the camera shows airwolf hovering faceing them the tail rortor is on the oppisite side, same as in "mind of the machine" when hawke and winchester do the sim fight. 2 differnt airwolf´s, tail rortor on differnt side of each one

The footage of the Hughes 500 armed from the skid view is taken from the 1978 movie Capricorn One just like the footage of the Hughes 500 crashing into the cliff in Echoes from the Past and The A-Team´s Battle of Belair and footage of the Lear Jet in Santini´s Millions.

On the DVD at roughly 47:25 in the credits section, there´s a shot of the girl (Phoebe/Shannon Doherty) firing a gun out the left side window and then some kind of paintball flying across the windshield of one of the enemy choppers. These shots aren´t seen in the actual episode, but there IS an unexplained shot used where she closes the side window.

When String picks them up after he crashed down the helicopter and the blown away truck, Dom gets in as last person. When they lift up from the ground, you can clearly see a man like Dom at the left seat of The Lady. When they are in the air and they are being chased by (probably) migs, he's in the back. How can he climb in the back with four other people in there and how did they switch places ?

Pretty sure its this ep. When Hawke's flying to Russia to rescue the spy, they continually do close-ups of Hawke from the outside whilst he's still flying the Lady. In one such close-up, if you look carefully, the guy flying Airwolf isn't Hawke. Its some other guy - for one, he has got yellow sunglasses on underneath the helmet. For another, he's got more wrinkles (i think)

The beige suit worn by Stringfellow is the same one he wore at the Red Castle in Shadow of the Hawk. However, in Shadow, the FIRM's minion who met Hawke at the Orlea airport said the clothes she gave him were "used". I doubt he bothered to pack a "used" suit for his escape trip with Airwolf.

I have the king of all bloopers for this episode. The bell 206 jetranger used for the robbery was dominics bell from his own business clearly, beacause he is preparing it earlier in the show, so why the hell does string blow it up at the end. I mean little bloopers are ok but come on don bellisaro that's just not thinging clearly. String also blew up the gold too!!

one other blooper i caught was when string is firing the chain guns at the robber you can clearly see that the round fixtures on the wing pods are strobe lights to give the illusion that the guns are firing, still looks pretty real, I mean it took me 18 years to catch it.

Wouldnt Susan have realised then, that Airwolf was what the helicopter was called.?. More a script blooper than a visual one, but a blooper none the less.

Here´s one for you. When Sinjin is talking about how Dom and Archangel were killed. He said that they were flying a ´Cobra´ --- An AH-1 Cobra, its an attack gunship, most likely this is not the case where Dom and Archangel were actually flying it. I could see it if there were flying in a CH-47 Chinook but not a Cobra.

The show opens as Airwolf begins a climb with the turbos. They climb as high as Airwolf would go and wallow out, beginning a free-fall dive. As Hawke and Dom are descending from 85000 ft, Dom starts reading the altimeter, supposedly as it decreases. But the film shows the altimeter values increasing, from 79,000 ft up to 80,000 ft.

As usual the problems with the special effects. Yup i agree that the poles holding up the missiles are clearly seen! Also as AIRWOLF made its way to the Helmet Kruger mansion, we can see it being rather wobbly? How come something so wobbly is not affected by the kind of rounds being shot at it? Some even like airplane fire in some episodes with 30 mm rounds. I know that AIRWOLF is protected against small arms fire but these huge rounds sure would at least cause the lady to vibrate?
At the beginning of the episode we see AIRWOLF reach a ridiculously high altitude......BS aside......WHen it starts to wobble at that height the camera immediately shoots into the cabin and we see that our fren Hawke and Dom are not the least affected by it. The wobble at that kind of speeds and altitude would be like a massive earthquake in my view. Seems like business as usualy.
Yeah AIRWOLF is pressurised but you guys know that part of the window can open up? How come there is no lock on that and AIRWOLF can merribly perform all kinds of pressurisation and depressurisation with ease. Also from all the scenes that I have seen of AIRWOLF, I don`t see anything to seal the doors at that height. I also can see that in order for someone to get into the back of AIRWOLF into the observer seat they would have to swing the seat forward. Quite an inconvient design flaw dont you guys think?

Once again Dom has a very poor recognition of fighters. Also we have mysterious switchhing fighters. Dom says "Phantoms" which are clearly F-4s as far as i know but the camera shows 2 A-4s comming towards them then these A-4s becomes F-4s and A-4s back and forth........I think the editing guys should be shot! What are they doing? Even a person with absolutely no knowledge of fighters would be able to pick this out! The fighters are very very different from each other!

In the episode TO SNARE A WOLF, the scene where Bogard entered the cabin to have a pow-wow with Stringfellow, you can see a reflection on String's curio glass door. When the camera is focusing on Bogard, you can see JMV stretching his back and shoulder. His hands placed on the counter and looking down at a book (I think it's a screen play manuscript) and he is arching his back and raising his shoulder blades as if to stretch. Then when the camera returns to JMV, he is in a total different position.

In this episode we saw how "dangerious" AIRWOLF`s down wash is? How come the JEEP that is parked next to AIRWOLF in the lair when it takes off doesnt get blown away when it takes off? About vehicles getting blown away we will have to do the maths to see how many tonnes does AIRWOLF really have to be to be able to create such a DOWNWASH while HOVERING. 50 or 60 tonnes anybody, a tab too heavy for such a small copter don`t you think unless it was built out of solid lead? Also in this episode, we can see the cables pulling to "flip over" the vehicle? But i did like the aerial stunts in this episodes too like the one with Stringfellow hovering just maybe 5 feet above the ground when he was having a "face to face" session with the Sherrif`s county jail.

At the end of the episode, when Airwolf is hovering in front of the casino, a man is asking Darius (talking about Hawke) : "What the hell is he talking about?!". A few seconds later, Hawke starts to fire on the casino and there is a big rush. Look at the man who was talking to Darius and to his wife (the woman who wears a blue dress) : we see him running in front of the bay window with her, crossing a cook. The following sequence shows us the exact same scene (if you look closely the man hasn't passed the bay window yet) from a different angle...

As Airwolf takes off from the Lair, there is a shot of Dominic in his usual place in the rear of the chopper, yet just a couple of shots later, as the Lady is still rising from the Lair, he is seen seated next to Hawke (where he remains for the rest of the flight). When Dom's ex-wife Lila drops the locket that he has gone to collect, in the close-up of it falling to the ground, the chain lands in a different position to than in the next shot, as Dom bends over to pick it up. Dom radios String and says for String to get her, and Dom will take Caitlyn back with him. String lands and Caitlyn is MISSING from String´s chopper even though he hasn´t landed yet. Perhaps she teleported into the Huey that Dom is flying?

This one is easily identified by all you "Superman" fans out there. During the opening scene, where it shows those two people destroying a dam, the water races down a canyon, where it approaches a wall of rocks, then goes into the next scene. Well, they had to fade the scene out and go into the next one because it was the same scene used in the movie "Superman" where Christopher Reeve pushes a huge boulder over a cliff, triggering a massive rock slide which he hopes will block a flood of water from a burst dam caused by a nuclear detonation and earthquake. This scene was also used in (its entirety!!) a 2nd or 3rd season KNIGHT RIDER, where K.I.T.T. blasts all these boulders down to block the path of the water.

Stuntwoman Desiree Kerns suffered second- and third-degree burns on her face, scalp, neck and one arm as she leaped from a pickup truck rigged with an explosive device. Kerns and stunt man Chad Randall, standing in for JMV and Heather McNair, were in the pickup, which was rigged with an explosive device that Kerns could trigger by pressing a button. In a following lawsuit, Kerns claimed she went into the stunt thinking that the device would produce only smoke and no flames.

The opening title says the dam is in the ´southeastern United States´, but then 1 year later when we see String, Dom and Cait, it says 3,000 miles away (in the Santini Air hangar).. Satini Air is in southern California. 3,000 miles away would be New York or somewhere else on the east coast, certainly nowhere near the southeastern U.S. =)

In the car/van chase, just before "the police shift should be changing about ... right ... now!", there's a continuity scene where the van and pursuing car are chasing around the block. The chasing car oversteers quite a bit and misses a corner ... the film is mirrored as both the car and van are magically changed to Right Hand Drive (like in the UK).

Close to the end of the episode, Marella and Archangel can be seen in a plane, they have just picked up Larry Mason. When the plane can be seen from outside, it has two windows on its side. Then another plane (with a large number on it "64") comes to attack them. The next scene where Archangel's plane is shown from outside, it only has ONE window on its side! It stays like this for most of the combat.

There's a whole prologue scene missing, which was originally meant to be before the post-opening credits, but the episode overran, and the entire scene was cut. A thought / comment on the missing first scene - I always thought it was rather bizarre that the scene was dropped due to time constraints, yet the closing credits are one of the longest in the entire show's run. In the escape scene where Hawke comes down in the cargo net, when Ozzie and Hawke fall/jump off the net, there´s a scene where Hawke grabs Ozzie and they try to escape but their path is blocked by the Sergeant (Ismael ´East´ Cargo´s character in the sunglasses). Right at the end of this episode's finale aerial with Hawke attacking Horn's desert base, a sandbag circle with 2 soliders on a hill and a standing solider appear. After the following shot [which is Hawke's thumb pushing the ADF button], the sandbag circle has a big still hump, which looks like the back of one of the 2 soliders. The standing soldier however jumps of the hill escaping the blast.

Hawke and Horn's lady assistant [forgive me I can't remember Catherine Hickland's character's name] but when the two arrive at Horn's secret desert base, a shot shows their JetRanger coming towards the landing pad. As soon as the JetRanger turns to land, the camera moves to the right, but not fast enough, as the downwash from the chopper vibrates the camera.
31 Jul 2002, Jayson Firestorm 32, The Horn of Plenty

When Redwolf takes off and blows up the hangar-door to get out, you will find that the chopper is not a real one. The main rotor makes it clear. It's a radio control model, and moreover the cockpit is empty - no pilot.

Just after Airwolf's loop in the final battle, Hawke is purchasing Jenkins. In one of the shots, Airwolf II is seen alone with its shadow but there is another one behind it. If you look at this shadow, you'll notice that it has skids and so that it is not the one of the Lady.
30 Jan 2002, Martin G. Grant 22, Airwolf II
During this episode's terrible teaser, there are a few bloopers.
1. The leader's [of the foreign mercenary team's] voice does syncronise with the shot when he's with Jenkins.
2. The shot that follows Hawke in the JetRanger has a slight pause of Airwolf II chasing Airwolf.
3. None of the on-screen visual effects are appearing, such as the rocket firing from Redwolf, and also Redwolf's Chain Guns.
01 Feb 2002, AJForbes 47, Airwolf II
In the season 1 episode "To Snare A Wolf" Hawke's helmet visor automatically comes down to save him from flash blindness.
This should also have happened with Jenkin's helmet when Hawke deployed a sunburst. I also beleive that this was the only time that the sunburst was used offensively.
I thought that this was a novel use of defensive firepower.

I havent seen this episode since i was a kid in the eighties but i used to record them and have a good memory...
I can remember in one episode archangel sets up an experiment to remotely fly airwolf from the ground(remote control). Something fails and airwolf cannot get out of auto pilot as two jets fire missiles at airwolf. Airwolf doesnt blow up after two missiles but it just fries the electricals...so why does redwolf explode when string fires a missile at it. I thought it was more deadilier than airwolf.
also this is an episode where they use the same missile hitting earth scene, and you see a worm fly out of the soil on each different missile explosion

On a more whimsical note, when the Admiral calls String to tell him of Archangel´s firing, he is playing PacMan. When he starts talking to hawke and the atari controller is on the tabvle next to him, the game contiues to play on the video miniter behind him with noone at the controls.
Also the stunt double for Hawke is much taller than JMV and doesn´t have spiked hair during the fight at the ranch house

comment to math1488, I know Hawke gets Airwolf behind Redwolf after he uses turbos, but I said in my blooper comment that pause the screen right after you see Hawke taking Airwolf in turbo Straight up, in next scene they show Redwolf passing throguh screen right!....in that scene just pause it as soon as comes, the first frame, u will see Airwolf behind Redwolf [ little blurry].....next they show Airwolf going up and then down (U turn) .....I meant that ...not that Airwolf doesn´t comes behind Redwolf.....!

hEY guys juz thought of one more. I was thinking when Hawke ran over to AIRWOLF in his civilian clothes with the flight suit on one hand. He actually enters AIRWOFL with it and then imediately takes off! I dint now that the lady had a changing room on board and also that Hawke could hange his clothes so fast! I know when i was in the army we had "change parades" but the time he took to put on his flight suit is juz ridiculous!

I thought this episode was AWESOME..A little bit more could have been done but I know the budget at CBS was gettin´ tight.
Now Just look at Redwolf. This is supposed to be the successor to the first. If that is so then I think it would be been atleast worth it to mount some turbos on the sides. In addition, mount some weapons while you´re at it. Concoct some more Wolf Howls and this would have been a perfect 10.

Audio: When trying to dismantle the bomb that's interconnect between Airwolf and Cait, you'll hear a cheesy video game type noise. As they quickly pan back and forth (from Dom in Airwolf, to the clock, to Cait, to Airwolf, to the look on Michael's face, and back to the clock), the noise stops for a moment, then starts back up again.

When Hawke brings Airwolf from behind a mountain, Stappleford fires a rocket, and within a second, Airwolf is heading to the other mountain on the opposite side. The reason why this is a blooper is the shot shows Airwolf speeding from an angle which would of taken at least a few more seconds, even at top speed, unless Hawke made a violent hard turn.
05 Feb 2002, Martin G. Grant 22, Eagles
The post-production visual effects for the bullets bouncing of the X-400's rear from Airwolf's Chain-Guns look really cheesy as you can tell their not real. Also, the sparkles seem to cut very quick between them, and not properly bounce off.

Besides being a prototype, the X-400 must have another special ability: to be instantaneously combustible. When it's hit by Airwolf's missile, there's no debris.

In the scene where Dominic is chasing after one of Karl's men in a black car, the end of the chase has Dominic plunging down a hill into a tree, where the car explodes. If you look closely though, you can clearly see that two different cars were used. The one Dom was driving during the chase looked new, clean and all spruced up. The one that goes down the hill and explodes is a much older car. Obviously, they chose to blow up a cheap one as opposed to the nice looking one Dom was initially driving! I believe both vehicles were Cadillac's.

A very obvious blooper: When String and Archangel are flying through the tunnel in that JetRanger the scenes of flying in and out of the tunnel are from "Inn at the end of the road". Doc Gifford was flying in there to hide from Airwolf.

When Caitlin retrieves Airwolf from the Lair, when she engages the turbos, the turbos sound effect seems to kick in a noticeable split-second too early (on my copy at least)! [Courtest of Jayson Firestorm - Airwolf editor @ TVTome.com]

When Hawke and the woman escape of the hospital, they are chased by two bad guys. They enter into Hawke's helicopter and go away. The problem is that the rotor of the chopper goes very fast in a couple of seconds, which is impossible.

During the first Jail break attempt, they show the bottom of Airwolf with full guns open. When they switch cameras, the weapons are not deployed.

When Dom picks up Hawk at RossAir in Airwolf, Hark is wearing a red-shirt as he boards. In the next cut, the Airwolf interior shots, they have him wearing the Airwolf jumpsuit.
13 Jan 2002, Louis Theb 26, Tracks
At the beginning of the episode, Hawke is in a canoe and his shirt is wet. However, just after he arrives, his shirt is perfectly dry.
13 Jan 2002, Louis Theb 26, Tracks
After Hawke is hurt by the arrow, he falls down the mountain side and then John brings him back using a rope and his wheelchair. If you look closely at that scene, you'll notice that JMV's double who is on the wheelchair doesn't wear sunglasses while JMV is wearing some.
13 Jan 2002, Louis Theb 26, Tracks
At the end of the episode, the "Catman" fires on Hawke with his bow but the arrow goes into a tree. If you pay attention, you'll see that this tree is trembling and that in fact it is just a plank.

I think CBS ran out of ideas and pieced together an hour´s worth of the blooper reel. Hint: THIS EPISODE.

When Hawke is being pulled back up the mountainside by rope, he has a splint on his leg; (I believe it was broken in the fall after he was shot with the arrow.) But he is clearly putting his full weight on that leg.

String and "Half-Pint" walk into the club (all dressed up) and walk up to the bar to sit down. Next, the camera goes to the man and lady, if you look in the background you will see String and "Half-Pint" once again going to the bar and sitting down!
13 Jan 2002, Louis Theb 26, Birds of Paradise
When String is looking for the girl in the club, he shows the picture of the girl and when he asks the guys in the club if they have seen this girl, he stumbles over his lines and tries to play it off.

When String takes Kincaid up in Airwolf for a demonstration, he shows off the Lady's missile capabilities ("And if they're still on your tail....") It's actually Redwolf firing all of those missiles into the canyon.
08 Apr 2002, johnnyboy1968 42, Birds of Paradise
Near the beginning, Kincaid lands his so called "Huey" helicopter. It is actually an Aerospatiale Gazelle. You only see it once. The later shots with Hawke, Kincaid and the good time girls, are now actually flying in a black Huey.
10 Dec 2003, tonguc 31, Birds of Paradise
Hawke flyes a black Gazelle helicopter to impress Kincaid; and it is probably the first time they use a Gazelle in the series.

When Jo and String are testing the new device, a shot of the SA Jet Ranger is seen flying over the SA hanger in poor weather conditions (like it has rained), but straight after this, we see the Jet Ranger flying over a sunny desert landscape (stock footage from the 2nd Season episode ''Firestorm'')

Dominic in this episode is clearly not being played by ernest borgnine, any scene with Dominic in was only from the back, which makes this, for me the only really bad episode with jmv and eb in.

(NOTE FOR ENTIRE SEASON): In case anyone hasn't realised (well, there could be someone!), ALL shots of Airwolf in flight, as well as nearly all the other aircraft seen in this series, is recycled footage from the original three seasons. The company did'nt have a flying Airwolf (only a ground mock-up), and there was absolutely NO new Airwolf arial footage in the entire season. (Which contributes towards many of the continuity error bloopers, when chunks of old footage are stuck togehter!)

WHEN MIKE RIVERS STARTS UP AIRWOLF FOR THE FIRST TIME, HIS HAND IS CLEARLY NOT HIS OWN. WHEN HE IS RISING OUT OF AIRWOLF IT SUDDENLY SEEMS THAT ERNEST BORGNINE HAS SOMEHOW MANAGED TO GET BACK IN THERE AS IT IS HIS HAND BEING SEEN AT THE CONTROLS.

When Airwolf raises in the Air, you see a Motor-Cycle on the left side. This is the startsequence from Season 2-Episode "Firestorm".

This episode is the first time we see (what is supposedly) Jason's hand grip Airwolf's yoke, it is quite clearly the footage used for Stringfellow Hawke's hand from the original series, used with a tint to try and match Jason's dark skin.
(Also, the shot is quite clearly on the right-hand side of Airwolf, whereas Jason is sitting on the left). This shot would be used again numerous times throughout the season. [Courtesy of Jayson Firestorm ¿ Airwolf editor @ TVTome.com]

When taking of from where Airwolf is hidden it is dawn outside. Then one of them says to put the turbo's on. They do and when he pressed the button it shows a picture outside the aircraft of the flame coming out the back but look in the background and it shows it is daytime.

When in a battle with the other helicopter ( mainly airwolf 2) the helicopter shoots his laser at airwolf.
In episode 1-2 the same helicopter used its laser at airwolf which had Jan-Michael-Vincent in it and the laser did not make any damage at it but in this one they had a warning and there was smoke coming out of the tail.

When the helicopter (airwolf 2) fly's over the jeep with everyone inside, the pilot switches to chain guns, it show's the black and white wing for Airwolf and then show's you Airwolf 2 with no gun's attached to the wings.

After Airwolf is towed into the Russian hangar, there is a shot of Mike in the cockpit. He raises his visor and then says "All right." He didn't have his visor down a couple of minutes ago, and he has somehow ended up in the pilot's seat.
18 Feb 2002, Louis Theb 26, Stavograd - Part 2
The scene used for when Airwolf is taking off from the nuclear facility is from "The Girl Who Felt from the Sky". This same scene is used several times for when Airwolf has to go to the reactor, but also one time for when Airwolf comes back from the reactor. That means that they showed this scene from the end to the beginning for we to believe that Airwolf is landing.
12 May 2002, AirwolfGDN 24, Stavograd - Part 2
When Mike was flying with the Russian pilot as a wingman to shoot the nuclear facility, the planes appeared to be MiG-17 Frescoes when in fact, they were F-86's. When the Russian pilot crashed into the mountain, they showed a MiG 29 Fulcrum, a twin-stabilizer plane (2 tails) rather than a single tail.

While Mike and Locke are testing the "no-hands" system, They shot a Navy surplus ship, the same ship in the stock fottage in "Shadow of a Hawke". Plus, the scanners detect a Cessna 172R Skyhawk coming close when in fact it was a Piper J-3 Cub.

Notice the writing on the side of the Santini Air chopper, when it investigates the two guys in the car that ran off into the ditch. The lettering is much smaller in the Canadian shot scenes. In fact, when Jo and Mike land the helo, there appears to be no writing on the red, white and blue chopper at all!

07 Feb 2002, R.Cassidy 25, The Puppet Master
In the scene where Mike and Jo recover Airwolf, and Jo tells St.John "We've got Airwolf", you can hear the sound of Airwolf's rotors- unfortunately, you can see the rotors in the shot, and they ain't moving.
29 Mar 2002, jno 36, The Puppet Master
Yet more minus points for the stock footage boys and girls in this one. After Mike and Jo recover Airwolf, the standard opening shot of Airwolf is used showing one pilot, with a helmet on - next scene Mike has no helmet on. This is quite a common mistake in series 4 eventually :(
